Lifetime has released the trailer for its latest “Ripped from the Headlines” film, ‘Sister Wife Murder’. The film features Dia Nash, daughter of Niecy Nash, transitioning from her role in ‘Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story’ to another project based on a gripping crime story. ‘Sister Wife Murder’ is set to premiere on Saturday, July 13, at 8/7c on Lifetime.

The movie tells the story of Chloe (Dia Nash), who, after attending church for the first time one Sunday, becomes infatuated with her pastor, Caleb (Matthew Daddario). Amid secret meetings and stolen glances, Chloe falls deeply in love with Caleb, only to discover that he is already married to not one, but two wives. Despite the unconventional situation, Chloe is elated when Caleb proposes to her.
However, the relationship quickly turns sour as Chloe experiences Caleb’s controlling behavior. She finds solace only in the company of Caleb’s other wives, Anna (Ashley Williams) and Margo (Ashley Dulaney). The story takes a darker turn when one of the wives mysteriously disappears, leaving Chloe to fear that she might be next.

‘Sister Wife Murder’ is part of Lifetime’s summer lineup of “Ripped from the Headlines” movies. This lineup includes ‘Amish Affair’, set to premiere on July 6. Starring Ryan McPartlin and Mackenzie Cardwell, ‘Amish Affair’ follows an Amish woman framed for murder who must prove her innocence.
Lifetime’s summer slate also features other true-crime films, such as ‘The Girl Locked Upstairs: The Tanya Kach Story’, ‘Gaslit by My Husband: The Morgan Metzer Story’, ‘Yoga Teacher Killer: The Kaitlin Armstrong Story’, ‘Danger in the Dorm’, ‘Devil on Campus: The Larry Ray Story’, and ‘The Killer Inside: The Ruth Finley Story’.
