Love, Loss, and Life at 20,000 Feet — ‘SkyMed’ Season 3 Trailer Just Touched Down

The skies are calling again — and this crew’s got unfinished business.

Paramount+ just dropped the official trailer and key art for Season 3 of SkyMed, the high-flying medical drama that mixes heart-racing rescues with personal drama at 20,000 feet. And the best part? You won’t have to wait week to week — all nine episodes will be available to binge starting Thursday, May 15 in the U.S., Latin America, and Brazil. The rest of the world, including the UK, Australia, and several parts of Europe, gets in on the action the next day.

If you haven’t caught up yet, SkyMed follows a tight-knit crew of young medics and pilots flying air ambulances across Northern Canada — think Grey’s Anatomy meets Top Gun, but in the wilderness. Season 3 picks up right where the dramatic Season 2 finale left off, with the team rocked by a medical emergency that hits way too close to home. From there, it’s a rollercoaster of emotional goodbyes, new love sparks, and the kind of life-or-death moments that’ll have you holding your breath.

Returning to the flight deck are Natasha Calis (Nurses) as Hayley, Morgan Holmstrom (Day of the Dead) as Crystal, Praneet Akilla (Nancy Drew) as Chopper, Mercedes Morris (Ghosts) as Lexi, Thomas Elms (The Boys in the Boat) as Nowak, Kheon Clarke (Riverdale) as Tristan, and Sydney Kuhne (Ginny & Georgia) as Stef.

And in a well-deserved promotion, Aaron Ashmore (Ginny & Georgia, The Rookie) is officially a series regular this season, back as fan-favorite Wheezer.

Also making their return: Aason Nadjiwon (The Twilight Zone) as Bodie and Emilia McCarthy (Zombies) as Madison. Braeden Clarke (Outlander) is also set to pop in again as Jeremy. New faces joining the team include Anthony Grant (Star Trek: Discovery, Polar) as TJ and Nicola Correia-Damude (Shadowhunters, Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent) as Marianne.

The show is created by Julie Puckrin and inspired by her sister and brother-in-law’s real-life love story that took off while flying air ambulances. It’s produced by Piazza Entertainment in association with CBC and CBS Studios, with Puckrin, Gillian Hormel, and Vanessa Piazza serving as executive producers.

If you’re into shows that bring the drama both in the skies and on the ground — with a lot of heart in between — SkyMed is one you’ll want on your radar.

So, buckle up — the wild skies of Northern Canada are back in session.
