Spring Breakthrough centers on Monica Rollins (Sharp) who has been eagerly awaiting her daughter Vivian’s (Brown) annual Spring Break visit. But when Monica is unexpectedly fired from her job just days before Vivian’s arrival, her world is turned upside down. Things go from bad to worse when Vivian reveals she’s engaged to Shawn (Dixon), someone Monica has never even heard of. Determined to put a stop to the engagement, Monica travels to The Gulf Shores for the engagement celebration in hopes to stalling it. Enter Clark Randall (Grosse), Shawn’s godfather who Monica meets at the airport. Sparks fly between them, but things get off to a rocky start when Monica accuses Clark of having a juvenile attitude. As they spend more time together, Monica begins to see Clark in a different light and starts to have a change of heart. Could this be the breakthrough Monica needs to open herself up to love once again?
