Stillwind Productions has officially wrapped filming on Gracefully Grounded, an inspirational dramedy written and directed by Tampa Bay’s own Tiffany Q. Edwards, produced in conjunction with Deon Gibson of New Vision Film.
Shot entirely in the Tampa Bay area with a mostly local cast, crew and businesses, including Beach House Coffee and COhatch, the film follows Grace Morgan (Ashley Marie Jones), a young woman navigating career uncertainty and her faith while pursuing her dream of opening a coffee shop. Alongside her are her wise father James, played by Dorien Wilson (The Parkers), and Lucas Carter (Angelo Diaz), a contractor whose unexpected connection with Grace challenges them both to look toward the future. The production now heads into post-production.
The wrap comes alongside several other updates from Stillwind. The company’s romance drama The Pages of My Heart, directed by Gibson and co-written with Shaila Velazquez, is now available to stream for free on YouTube, Tubi and Roku, and on Amazon Prime Video. The film follows Aaliyah (Geneva Maccarone), a struggling actress in St. Petersburg whose whirlwind romance with a charming journalist is upended by hidden secrets and unexpected tragedy.
Additionally, Stillwind has wrapped core interviews on Transformer, an upcoming six-part docuseries co-created with Edwards, who wrote three of the episodes. Dramatic reenactments are set to film locally in the fourth quarter of this year, with the complete series targeting a March 2027 relative.
