AllBlk announced its upcoming film, The Contract, starring Gabrielle Dennis (A Black Lady Sketch Show) and Lil Duval (Meet the Blacks), which centers on the interesting ups and downs of marriage. Premiering on Friday, November 1, the film centers around a married couple navigating their relationship’s challenges through a bold and unconventional agreement.
Anna (Dennis) and Dennis (Duval) are college sweethearts who, after years of marriage, find themselves at a crossroads. Anna, a successful lawyer, is ready to start a family, while Dennis isn’t quite ready for parenthood. Instead, he fixates on fulfilling a long-held fantasy: having a threesome.

In an effort to meet each other halfway, Anna proposes a daring compromise—if Dennis completes a list of 100 household tasks, they can go through with the threesome, and afterward, try for a baby. What begins as a playful negotiation quickly spirals into a series of humorous and awkward situations as Dennis, motivated by his fantasy, throws himself into the tasks with unexpected enthusiasm.
As Dennis works through the list, the couple is forced to confront deeper issues within their marriage. Anna’s desire for motherhood intensifies as Dennis begins to realize the complexities and potential pitfalls of their agreement. What was supposed to be a simple contract soon becomes a test of their relationship and a journey of personal growth for both.
The Contract balances comedy with emotional depth, exploring how couples navigate conflicting desires and the importance of communication and compromise in maintaining a healthy relationship. The film also touches on the pressures and expectations that come with marriage, parenthood, and the pursuit of personal fantasies.
With its mix of humor and heart, The Contract is set to offer a fresh take on the romantic comedy genre when it premieres on Friday, November 1.
