Catherine O’Hara was previously added to the second season in an undisclosed guest role.
Season 2, which began filming in February, explores the aftermath of Joel and Ellie’s journey, with the pair settling in Jackson, Wyoming. However, their peace is shattered by a violent event, prompting Ellie to seek justice and closure.
