Tosin Morohunfola, Karen Obilom, Paula Jai Parker Among 7 to Join ‘The Late Night Creep’

Writer-director Jamal Dedeaux, known for his work on “Laff Mobb’s Laff Tracks,” has finalized the cast for his upcoming indie dark comedy, “The Late Night Creep.” Joining the project are Tosin Morohunfola, Jason Mitchell, Karen Obilom, Lori Laing, Paula Jai Parker, Lewis Belt, and and Leslie Jones.

These additions join the previously announced lead actor, Jake Choi, known for his role in “Single Parents.”

“The Late Night Creep” follows the narrative of an unhappily married man, played by Choi, who clandestinely leaves his home for a date with his college crush, only to find himself in a series of unfortunate events throughout the night. The film is produced by Dedeaux, along with Rebecca Haze and Kris Simms, with Kim Williams responsible for casting.

Specific details regarding the roles each actor will portray have not been disclosed.

Morohunfola most recently starred in ‘Run The World’ with credits also including ‘Black Box,’ ‘Friend Request,’ and more. Mitchell’s credits include ‘Mudbound,’ ‘The Chi,’ Straight Outta Compton and more. Obilom’s credits include ‘The Mill,’ Laing is seen in “That Damn Michael Che,” Paula Jai Parker famous for “Hustle & Flow,” Lewis Belt from “House Party,” and Leslie Jones, celebrated for her time on “SNL.”
