Aaron Pierre’s Arrival and Karen Pittman’s Standout Moments Fuel ‘The Morning Show’ Season 4 Trailer

Apple TV+ has released the official trailer for The Morning Show Season 4, and it teases a season filled with power struggles, new romances, and hard truths inside UBN. The Emmy-winning drama returns on September 17 with 10 new episodes, dropping weekly through November 19.

A Reset That’s Anything but Calm

Season 4 jumps almost two years after the events of Season 3, which ended with the UBA-NBN merger. Reese Witherspoon’s Bradley Jackson insists she’s ready for redemption: “I’m a firm believer in second chances… maybe this is an opportunity to make it right.”

Jennifer Aniston’s Alex Levy calls it a reset—“A different company. A different culture.”—but the trailer makes it clear that hidden agendas, corporate scandals, and personal rivalries are threatening to unravel the network.

Karen Pittman Refuses to Be Ignored

One of the most striking moments comes from Karen Pittman’s Mia Jordan, who rises to her feet in a boardroom full of executives to declare: “People need to feel that UBN is gonna have it first, and they’re gonna have it right.”

Her powerful stand highlights Mia’s growing determination to carve out her place in the leadership hierarchy, even as Marion Cotillard’s Celine Dumont dismisses her words with: “A nice idea, but it’s not sexy.” The clash hints that Mia won’t be sidelined this season—and that her voice could reshape the newsroom power dynamic.

Aaron Pierre Complicates the Network

The trailer also introduces Aaron Pierre as Miles, a charismatic newcomer whose entanglements with both Stella (Greta Lee) and Celine (Marion Cotillard) suggest he’ll be stirring the pot on both professional and personal fronts. His addition adds new tension to the network’s already fragile alliances.

The Season’s New Direction

Season 4 dives into timely themes, from the rise of artificial intelligence and deepfakes to the ongoing battles over truth and trust in journalism. Bradley faces the fallout of past choices as she digs into another UBA cover-up, Alex is warned she may have been set up, and Paul Marks (Jon Hamm) lurks in the shadows, urging Alex to “dig” deeper.

The trailer teases FBI raids, betrayals, and even possible new romances—including a close moment between Alex and Boyd Holbrook’s provocative podcaster, Brodie.

Cast Lineup

Returning for Season 4 are Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Billy Crudup, Karen Pittman, Nicole Beharie, Nestor Carbonell, Mark Duplass, Greta Lee, and Jon Hamm.

They’re joined by newcomers Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Aaron Pierre, William Jackson Harper, and Boyd Holbrook, rounding out one of the show’s most stacked ensembles yet.

The Big Question

The trailer closes with Bradley asking Alex if all of this—mergers, fights, and reinventions—wasn’t supposed to make the network better. Alex fires back: “You can’t clean a house if you’re about to blow it up.”

And that, more than anything, seems to be the heartbeat of Season 4.

The Morning Show Season 4 premieres September 17 on Apple TV+.
