the summer i turned pretty season 3 trailer

The final chapter of The Summer I Turned Pretty is almost here—and Prime Video has officially unveiled the full trailer for season 3, teasing an emotional end to the beloved teen drama.

Premiering July 16, the third and final season picks up two years after the events of season 2, reuniting viewers with Belly Conklin (Lola Tung), Jeremiah Fisher (Gavin Casalegno), and Conrad Fisher (Christopher Briney) for one last summer at Cousins Beach. In the three-minute trailer, set to a blend of Taylor Swift’s “Daylight” and “Red (Taylor’s Version),” the stakes are higher than ever as Belly finds herself torn between the two brothers once again.

A Love Triangle at a Crossroads

Now a college junior, Belly is seemingly settled into a serious relationship with Jeremiah—and the two are even planning to get married. Their future looks bright until Conrad reappears, bringing unresolved feelings and past memories to the surface.

“When I’m with Jere, everything is easier,” Belly narrates in the trailer. “But everywhere I go, there’s a memory of Conrad.”

That tension is further amplified when Belly’s mother, Laurel (Jackie Chung), expresses concern about the young couple rushing into marriage. Meanwhile, Conrad, who has been living in San Francisco in pursuit of a medical career, begins to reflect on his own feelings and plots a quiet return.

New Season, New Dynamics

Season 3 also shines a light on other characters’ evolving relationships. Belly’s best friend Taylor (Rain Spencer) and her brother Steven (Sean Kaufman) are still going strong, with the trailer hinting at a visit between the two at Taylor’s college sorority. Meanwhile, Conrad is seen seeking advice from Taylor as he considers making a move to win Belly back.

The trailer also hints at a possible reconciliation between Belly’s divorced parents, who’ve had a complex dynamic since season 1.

Familiar Faces and Final Choices

Alongside Tung, Casalegno, and Briney, returning cast members include Sean Kaufman, Rain Spencer, Jackie Chung, and Colin Ferguson. The show is based on Jenny Han’s bestselling trilogy, and Han once again serves as co-showrunner and executive producer alongside Sarah Kucserka. Other executive producers include Karen Rosenfelt, Paul Lee, Hope Hartman, and Mads Hansen for wiip. The series is a co-production between Amazon Studios and wiip.

Han has teased that the final season will be emotionally intense for fans, noting, “No matter what you do, someone’s going to be hurt by it… That’s what makes a love triangle compelling.”

While details about the full plot remain under wraps, the official season synopsis confirms Belly is “on the brink of adulthood” and facing “core-shaking events” that bring her first love back into her life.

With one summer left, and everything on the line, Belly must finally decide which Fisher brother truly holds her heart.

Season 3 of The Summer I Turned Pretty premieres July 16 on Prime Video.
