Everybody’s favorite twins are back together on screen — but this time, their reunion is more about festive spirit than movie magic.
Tia Mowry and Tamera Mowry-Housley have teamed up for a new project celebrating the joy of the holiday season and their shared love of decorating. The Sister, Sister duo joined forces with HomeGoods for its annual Deck the Everything Day, an unofficial November 1st holiday that encourages early decorators to embrace the season without shame.
For the twins, the holidays are more than twinkle lights and garland — they’re a time to pause, reconnect, and celebrate family. Despite living in different cities (Tamera in Napa Valley and Tia in Los Angeles), the sisters say they make a point to come together each year. Whether it’s Thanksgiving or Christmas, one thing’s certain: there will be laughter, matching pajamas, and plenty of FaceTime calls if someone can’t make it in person.
As longtime holiday enthusiasts, Tia and Tamera each bring their own signature style to the season. Tia gravitates toward icy blues and shimmering accents — her “Winter Whimsy” aesthetic — while Tamera loves traditional red-and-green plaid with rustic touches, dubbing herself an “Evergreen Icon.”
HomeGoods’ Deck the Everything Day will open stores an hour early on November 1 to help shoppers kick off their decorating sprees. The campaign encourages people to discover their “Holiday Carol” — or festive alter ego — with inspiration from the Mowry sisters’ own creative approaches.
The partnership comes as both sisters continue to stay busy with holiday-themed projects of their own:
- ‘Baked With Love: Holiday’ (Hallmark Channel, October 27, 2025): Hosted by Tamera Mowry-Housley, this baking competition serves up seasonal treats and cozy competition.
- ‘Tidings for the Season’ (Hallmark Channel, November 16, 2025): Tamera stars opposite B.J. Britt in a heartwarming romance about a driven newscaster learning that love might be the best headline of all.
- ‘My Secret Santa’ (Netflix, December 3, 2025): Tia Mowry plays a single mom who secretly works as Santa at a ski resort and unexpectedly finds love along the way.
Whether it’s through their films or festive collaborations, Tia and Tamera continue to bring that signature sisterly warmth that made audiences fall in love with them decades ago — proving that no matter the season, some reunions just feel like home.
