Get Ready for the Reel Revival: 29+ TV Shows Returning to Production Before Year's End

After a six-month production shutdown due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, the TV industry is back in action as the curtains rise today. TV studios are swiftly gearing up for the return of primarily returning broadcast shows, diving into full-scale preparations.

Following the announcement of the end of the SAG-AFTRA strike, TV casts and crews are set for tentative start dates in late November and early December.

Of the many shows we know are eager to return to production, here are 29 (and counting) shows that will return to production. From familiar favorites like Netflix’s Stranger Things to upcoming gems like Max’s Welcome To Derry. And everyone’s favorite TV show Abbott Elementary.

But also note that while the television industry is wasting no time in resuming work, the return of scripted series might take longer than expected. As the industry navigates these changes, stay tuned for updates on your favorite shows’ revival.
