Netflix is giving fans a reason to celebrate: Tyler Perry’s hit series Beauty in Black has officially been renewed for a third and final season, even before the second half of Season 2 hits the streamer. The announcement comes as anticipation builds for the March 19, 2026 premiere of Beauty in Black Season 2, Part 2, which will debut alongside first-look images and new key art.
The series, created, written, directed, and executive produced by Tyler Perry, follows Kimmie (Taylor Polidore Williams), a former sex worker who rises to power after inheriting the Bellarie family’s beauty empire—and its dark, underground secrets. Season 2, Part 2 promises to continue Kimmie’s transformation into a force to be reckoned with, as the ruthless Bellarie clan faces the consequences of their past.
Beauty in Black has been a breakout success for Netflix. Season 1 spent seven weeks in the Top 10, topping the charts in 28 countries during its second week. Season 2, Part 1 also reached #1 in 14 countries in its second week, proving the series’ global appeal.
The show’s ensemble cast includes Crystle Stewart, Amber Reign Smith, Xavier Smalls, Ricco Ross, Julian Horton, Steven G.
