Tyler Perry’s Divorced Sistas is making streaming history.
BET+ revealed today that the new drama series has officially become the most-watched original series in the platform’s history—and it’s only halfway through its eight-episode debut season.
Starring LeToya Luckett, Khadeen Indréa, Porscha Coleman, Briana Price, and Jennifer Sears, Divorced Sistas follows five close-knit friends—Rasheda, Geneva, Naomi, Tiffany, and Bridgette—each navigating different stages of divorce, dating, and healing. But it’s the trials within their own circle that truly test their strength, character, and loyalty to one another.
They’re joined by RonReaco Lee, DeVon Franklin, Donovan Christie Jr., and Robert Christopher Riley in supporting roles.
The numbers back the buzz:
- The Divorced Sistas premiere is now the most-watched series premiere on BET+ since the service launched in 2019
- The show has driven 415,000 new subscription starts, making it the third most successful series launch across BET+ and third-party platforms
- On social, the series has earned 46.8 million video views and 23.4 million minutes watched across BET’s social channels
The network strategically previewed the first episode to BET’s linear audience following the 2025 BET Awards on June 9. The second episode dropped exclusively on BET+ a few days later, on June 12, kicking off a weekly rollout strategy designed to build momentum—and it’s clearly working.
From Tyler Perry Studios, the show is created, written, directed, and executive produced by Tyler Perry.
New episodes of Divorced Sistas drop every Thursday on BET+. The first half of season one will wrap on Thursday, July 24, with tomorrow’s episode titled “Breath of Fresh Air.” In it, Naomi finds herself emotionally overwhelmed by the ongoing harassment from her ex—and begins contemplating a drastic solution.
