“Run Nixon,” a thrilling urban film directed by Sky Palmer, known as SKYDIRECTS, is set to hit AMC theaters on November 22. Palmer also co-wrote and edited the feature. The movie features a cast including Fizz, Jordan Lee Brown, Sicily Cameron, Emperor Kaioyus, and more. This compelling narrative revolves around a mother’s extraordinary sacrifice and a father’s unwavering love and courage in a race to save their son’s life.

In “Run Nixon,” audiences are taken on a heart-racing journey where every second counts. The story follows Dre, a father pushed into a desperate race against time to save his son, Nixon. When Stacy, Nixon’s mother, delves into the criminal underworld to rob Slice and fund their son’s life-saving surgery, the stakes skyrocket.

The film captivates with its gripping narrative and adrenaline-pumping action, seamlessly blending a tale of sacrifice, unbreakable family bonds, and the extraordinary lengths parents will go to protect their children. Run Nixon was also co-written by Michelle Vital, produced by Brian Cooper, with cinematography by Matthew Villescas and music by Robbert Johnson.

Sky Palmer’s journey to bring “Run Nixon” to theaters is a testament to his relentless pursuit of his dreams. Despite facing numerous obstacles and limited resources during the film’s creation, Sky initiated a successful GoFundMe campaign and even took to the streets, standing on the corner of Hollywood and Sunset to attract vital funds for the film. His determination led him to Nikkole Randolph, AMC’s SVP of Content Strategy, who helped program the film in an astonishing three-week turnaround. “Run Nixon” is now set to premiere on November 22 in AMC theaters, making it the sole black cinema feature during Thanksgiving weekend.
