X Mayo Joins Loot Season 3 as Apple TV+ Sets Fall Premiere Date [TEASER]

Apple TV+ is bringing back its hit comedy Loot for a third season this fall — and comedian and actress X Mayo is among the new faces joining the fun.

The Maya Rudolph-led series will premiere globally on Wednesday, October 15, with its first two episodes. New episodes will follow weekly every Wednesday through December 10.

To mark the announcement, Apple TV+ dropped a cheeky teaser featuring Rudolph’s character, Molly Wells, pressing her face against a massive dining table crystal, pleading for it to “fix” her — only to question if her crystalogist might be a fraud when nothing happens.

The 10-episode third season picks up after a chaotic end to season two, which saw Molly and her devoted assistant Nicholas (Joel Kim Booster) jet off in a moment of crisis following billionaire backlash to her growing philanthropic efforts — and a painfully awkward moment with Arthur (Nat Faxon), her maybe-something-more colleague.

Returning cast members include Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Ron Funches, and of course Rudolph, who also executive produces the series. Season three will continue chronicling Molly’s mission to give away her $87 billion fortune through the antics of her quirky Wells Foundation team.

Guest stars this season include Stephanie Styles, D’Arcy Carden, Adam Scott, Zane Phillips, Henry Winkler, and The Daily Show alum X Mayo.

Loot is created by Matt Hubbard and Alan Yang, with Rudolph, Danielle Renfrew Behrens, Dave Becky, Dean Holland, and Natasha Lyonne also serving as executive producers. Hubbard returns as showrunner for season three, which is produced by Universal Television.

The first two seasons of Loot are now streaming on Apple TV+.
