Mackie first appeared as Sam Wilson (aka the Falcon) in 2014’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier. He reprised the role as The Falcon in the five subsequent movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This will be the first full film in which Mackie will star as his new alter ego, the new Captain America, following the events in the series finale of Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Roquemore’s role in the film is unknown but Ford joins as Thaddeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross and Ramirez as Joaquin Torres, aka the new Falcon, who he first played in Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Lumbly returns as Isaiah Bradley, a character he previously played in the MCU, a human test subject of the Super Soldier Serum in the 1950s and arguably the first Captain America. Nelson also returning as Samuel Sterns, who first appeared in the MCU with 2008’s The Incredible Hulk. Haas joins as the highly-controversial role of Sabra.

Per usual, Marvel Studios is keeping the film’s details well under wraps but the film is set to bow on May 3, 2024.
