Paramount+ has released the first full trailer for the fourth and final season of Yellowjackets, ahead of its November 20 premiere. Dulé Hill is among the new additions joining the final run, playing Detective Rollins, alongside Molly Ringwald, Devon Sawa, June Squibb, Ken Marino, Sam Braun, and Elijah Wood.
The trailer toggles between the 1990s post-crash timeline, a newly introduced timeline following the survivors immediately after their rescue, and the present day, set to Alanis Morissette’s “Ironic.” The final season follows the Yellowjackets’ return home after their rescue and the fallout that comes with it, including revelations about the identity of “Pit Girl” and who was responsible for killing Lottie in the present day.
Ringwald plays Vicky, a recently recovered alcoholic trying to course-correct her past and the mother of teen Van Palmer, played by Liv Hewson. Squibb, 96, plays Geraldine, appearing opposite Christina Ricci’s present-day Misty Quigley, with character details still under wraps. Sawa plays Howard in the show’s past timeline, appearing alongside Sophie Thatcher’s teen Natalie Scatorccio. Braun plays a teenage version of Jeff Sadecki, while Marino plays Russell opposite Jaylee Hamidi’s Alex.
These new additions join a returning ensemble that includes Melanie Lynskey, Ricci, Tawny Cypress, Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Thatcher, Samantha Hanratty, Courtney Eaton, Hewson, Warren Kole, Kevin Alves, Sarah Desjardins, Nia Sondaya, Jenna Burgess, and Hilary Swank.
Yellowjackets was created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, who serve as showrunners alongside executive producers Drew Comins, Jonathan Lisco, Jeff W. Byrd, Sarah L. Thompson, Ameni Rozsa, and Julia Bicknell. The series is produced by Lionsgate TV.
