‘You, Me & Tuscany’: Halle Bailey and Regé-Jean Page Tease Their Sun-Soaked Romantic Comedy in First Look Video

Halle Bailey and Regé-Jean Page are inviting audiences into the world of You, Me & Tuscany with a newly released first-look teaser that does more than show off the scenery—it sets the tone.  Their commentary adds warmth and intention, giving the teaser a conversational feel that makes the project instantly more inviting.

The film marks the latest project from producer Will Packer, blending sun-soaked escapism, mistaken identity, and a life-shifting love story set against the rolling hills of Tuscany.

Bailey stars as Anna, a young woman who has quietly put her dream of becoming a chef on hold and now finds herself drifting through her twenties after a series of questionable choices. When Anna suddenly loses both her house-sitting job and her place to live, a chance encounter presents an unexpected escape—one that sends her impulsively to Italy.

That opportunity comes through Matteo, an Italian man with an empty villa in Tuscany. Despite the warnings of her blunt and loyal best friend Claire, played by Aziza Scott, Anna travels overseas with a risky plan to stay in the villa—without permission—for just one night.

The situation quickly spirals when Matteo’s mother Gabriella, portrayed by Italian film icon Isabella Ferrari, unexpectedly arrives at the property. Caught off guard, Anna allows Gabriella to believe she is Matteo’s fiancée, turning a small lie into the foundation of an increasingly complicated arrangement.

The stakes rise even higher with the arrival of Matteo’s cousin Michael, played by Page, whose immediate chemistry with Anna forces her to confront not only the lie she’s living, but the version of herself she’s been avoiding.

The international ensemble also includes Lorenzo de Moor as Matteo, Marco Calvani as a local taxi driver who becomes an unlikely ally to Anna, and Academy Award® nominee Nia Vardalos as Mrs. Dunn, the client whose house-sitting job set the story in motion.

You, Me & Tuscany is directed by Kat Coiro (Marry Me, Matlock) and written by Ryan Engle, based on an original idea by Ryan Engle and Kristin Engle. The film is produced by Will Packer and Johanna Byer for Will Packer Productions, with Ryan Engle and Kristin Engle serving as executive producers.

The newly released first-look footage teases a romantic comedy grounded in reinvention, cultural collision, and the question of whether the wrong decision can sometimes lead you exactly where you’re meant to be.
