Max’s animated series lineup just got even more exciting with the release of the first trailer for “Young Love,” the new Max Original series set to premiere this fall. Packed with comedy and emotions, “Young Love” gives viewers an authentic look into the Young family’s lives, including millennial parents Stephen and Angela, their adorable daughter Zuri, and her lovable pet cat Rocky. The show delves into their careers, marriage, parenthood, and multi-generational dynamics, all while they strive to create a better life for themselves.
The star-studded cast lends their voices to bring the characters to life, with Kid Cudi (also known as Scott Mescudi) and Issa Rae leading the way. Alongside them are Brooke Monroe Conaway, Loretta Devine, Harry Lennix, and Tamar Braxton, making “Young Love” a truly captivating experience.
Creator and executive producer Matthew A. Cherry, the mastermind behind the heartwarming short film “Hair Love,” promises an enriching and entertaining story for both kids and adults alike. Working alongside Cherry are executive producers Monica Young from Blue Key Entertainment, as well as Carl Jones, Karen Toliver, Carl Reed, and David Steward II from Lion Forge Animation, in partnership with Sony Pictures Animation.
