Special Needs Network (SNN) will honor Yvette Nicole Brown, Renata Simril, and Dani Bowman at the 18th Annual A Pink Pump Affair: Carnival on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, recognizing their work advancing advocacy, access, and opportunity across entertainment, philanthropy, and disability inclusion.
Yvette Nicole Brown will receive the Visionary Award for her work as an actress, producer, and writer, and for her continued advocacy around representation, community engagement, and using her platform to amplify underserved voices.
Renata Simril, President & CEO of the LA84 Foundation, will receive the Trailblazer Award for her leadership in expanding youth access to sports, education, and equity-driven programming, as well as her work supporting underserved communities through large-scale philanthropic investment.
Dani Bowman, founder of DaniMation Entertainment and a breakout from Netflix’s Love on the Spectrum, will receive the Everyday Advocate Award for her work as an animator, entrepreneur, and disability advocate, including her efforts to create pathways in animation and media for individuals on the autism spectrum.
Hosted by Special Needs Network Founder Areva Martin, the annual event is more than a fundraiser—it is a movement centered on inclusion and impact for individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. Now in its 18th year, the luncheon and Women of Distinction Awards celebration brings together more than 500 leaders across entertainment, business, law, and philanthropy.
Proceeds from the event support SNN programs including the Joe Patton Academy Camp (JPAC), the only free full-day inclusion camp in Los Angeles, and Special Flavours, a workforce training initiative in culinary and hospitality for individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
The event will also include a fashion show featuring Tess Mann Altier and red carpet coverage with interviews and honoree access.
