Keith Powers to co-star opposite Gabrielle Union in the Netflix/AGC Studios romantic comedy The Perfect Find.
Numa Perrier is set to direct the romantic comedy that will be released on Netflix. And Leigh Davenport adapted Williams’ book for the screen. The Perfect Find centers on Jenna Jones (Union), a woman who hopes that her new job in beauty journalism will mark a fresh start in her life. However, the only thing she finds is her new boss is her frenemy, Darcy. Things get even more complicated when Jenna starts up a relationship with the company’s new videographer, Eric. However, she then finds out that Eric is Darcy’s son.

Stuart Ford’s AGC Studios will fully finance and produce the film alongside Union, who will produce under her I’ll Have Another shingle. Jeff Morrone, Tommy Oliver and Codie Elaine Oliver of Confluential Films will also produce. AGC’s Ford, Greg Shapiro and Glendon Palmer will executive produce, with I’ll Have Another’s Holly Shakoor Fleischer as co-producer.
Perfect Find is set to begin shooting in 2020.
Powers next stars opposite Chris Pratt in the sci-fi thriller, The Tomorrow War, from Skydance and Paramount, as well as indie drama On Our Way with Micheal Richardson and James Badge Dale. He is repped by Paradigm and Megan Silverman Management.
