Fans of the beloved TV series “This Is Us” have something new to look forward to as stars Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, and Chris Sullivan have announced the launch of their rewatch podcast titled “That Was Us.”

Scheduled to premiere on May 14, “That Was Us” promises to take fans on a nostalgic journey back into the lives of the Pearson family. The podcast will delve deep into the themes explored in the series, including loss, grief, love, family dynamics, and societal issues like racism and adoption.

The trio, who played pivotal roles in the show as Rebecca Pearson, Randall Pearson, and Toby Damon, respectively, will not only reminisce about their time on set but also engage with fellow castmates, surprise guests, and fans. “We are SO excited to finally announce that we (big) three are taking back Tuesdays and bringing #ThisIsUsback,” shared the stars on their joint Instagram page. “The Pearson’s story may have ended after six seasons, but our stories continue on.”

The podcast will be produced by Rabbit Grin Productions and Hearsay, with Ossa Collective serving as the exclusive sales partner. This venture adds “That Was Us” to the growing list of rewatch podcasts dedicated to popular TV shows like “Suits,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Prison Break,” “Friday Night Lights,” and “Veep.”

In a statement, Chris Sullivan reflected on the genesis of the podcast, saying, “It all started during a simple coffee meet-up with Sterling. We realized there was so much more to explore and share. ‘Let the journey continue,’ we thought, and here we are.”

Sterling K. Brown expressed his enthusiasm for reuniting with his co-stars, stating, “It was the quickest ‘yes’. To be able to once again join forces and work with the fam again? Easy.”
