Meet Ṣọpẹ Dìrísù's Character in 'Slow Horses' Season 3 [First Look + Premiere Date]

Gary Oldman and the “Slow Horses” crew are back, set to make their return with the first two episodes of Season 3 on December 1. Subsequent episodes will be released individually every Friday, running through December 29, and will be available exclusively on Apple.

But that’s not all – the streaming platform has treated fans to a tantalizing glimpse of what’s to come by unveiling some exciting first-look images from the upcoming season.

“Slow Horses” is a darkly humorous espionage drama that delves into the lives of a quirky team of British intelligence agents relegated to the less-than-glamorous Slough House department within MI5.

In the highly anticipated Season 3, which draws inspiration from the novel “Real Tigers,” a passionate romance unfolding in Istanbul threatens to unveil a long-buried MI5 secret in London. The series protagonist, Jackson Lamb (played by Gary Oldman), and his band of unconventional agents become embroiled in this perilous situation, entangled in a conspiracy that not only endangers Slough House but also the very future of MI5 itself.

The star-studded cast includes the likes of Kristin Scott Thomas, Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, Christopher Chung, Freddie Fox, Chris Reilly, Samuel West, Sophie Okonedo, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Kadiff Kirwan, and Jonathan Pryce.

Notably, this season welcomes Ṣọpẹ Dìrísù to the ensemble as Sean Donovan, the former head of security at the British embassy in Istanbul. Additionally, Katherine Waterston takes on the role of Alison Dunn, an MI5 agent who uncovers a dark secret at the heart of the agency.

For fans of “Slow Horses,” the excitement is building as Season 3 promises to deliver an engaging narrative and compelling characters. Mark your calendars for December 1 to catch the first episodes and get ready for an intriguing ride through the world of espionage and intrigue.
