New drama limited series. Written and directed by Mark E. Swinton, executive produced in association with Tyler Perry Studios. The four-episode crime drama follows citizens combating urban violence after a bus driver and a student are murdered by a group caught on video, sparking public outrage and a manhunt for the culprits.
Neagley | Series Premiere, September 16 | Prime Video
A Reacher spinoff. Maria Sten stars as Frances Neagley, who investigates the suspicious death of a close friend from her past and uncovers something far more menacing. Set in Chicago and built around her investigative and tech skills rather than brute force, the series isn’t based on a Lee Child novel, with Alan Ritchson appearing as Jack Reacher.
A Different World | Series Premiere, September 24 | Netflix
Created and showrun by Felicia Pride, with Debbie Allen also on board as executive producer, both Black creatives revisiting the original series. A sequel to the classic sitcom centered on Deborah Wayne (Maleah Joi Moon), the daughter of Dwayne Wayne (Kadeem Hardison) and Whitley Gilbert (Jasmine Guy), as she enters her freshman year at Hillman College and tries to build her own legacy while living in her parents’ shadow, alongside a new generation of students.
S.W.A.T. Exiles | Series Premiere, September 25 | Starz
Showrun by Jason Ning. After leaving S.W.A.T. behind following a fatal raid, Hondo (Shemar Moore) is recruited to lead a new team of young recruits, “LA’s most talented rejects,” including Lucy Barrett, Freddy Miyares, Zyra Gorecki, Ronen Rubinstein and Adain Bradley. The team uncovers a mole in their ranks and a conspiracy to set S.W.A.T. up to fail so it can be replaced by a private alternative.

Created by Tim Federle. A supernatural comedy drama following a trio of teenage witches in training, led by Malina Weissman as Briar alongside Tiffani Thiessen, Malachi Barton, Louis Thresher, Jordan Leftwich and Ora Duplass, destined to protect New Orleans from dangerous supernatural threats.
NCIS: New York | Series Premiere, October 6 | CBS
Sam Hanna (LL Cool J), a former NCIS Los Angeles agent, returns to his New York hometown to lead an NCIS team, partnering with roguish agent Nick Schaeffer (Scott Caan) in a series built on banter and New York attitude, also starring Jennifer Beals, Jacqueline Byers, Shane Harper and Devin Druid.
Bass X Machina | Series Premiere, Oct 6 | Netflix
Created by LeSean Thomas, a Black animator and creator also known for Yasuke and Cannon Busters, animated by Studio Mir. In a lawless steampunk Western filled with outlaws, machines and supernatural threats, a father, voiced by Brian Tyree Henry, is forced to become judge, jury and executioner, knowing every act of justice meant to protect his family may cost him the people he’s fighting to save. Also stars Janelle Monáe, Tati Gabrielle, Cree Summer and Chaske Spencer.
VisionQuest | Series Premiere, October 14 | Disney+
Showrun by Terry Matalas. Vision (Paul Bettany), having escaped those who sought to weaponize him, lives in hiding while consulting AI personas in his own programming. His existence is disrupted by a bounty hunter and a mysterious boy who may be Vision’s reincarnated son. Also stars James Spader and Ruaridh Mollica.

Created by Brad Caleb Kane. A Friday the 13th prequel set in the paranoid 1970s, centered on Pamela Voorhees (Linda Cardellini) as a grieving single mother, building her backstory in the years leading up to young Jason’s drowning at Camp Crystal Lake, the event that sets the original 1980 film in motion.
The Greatest | Series Premiere, November 4 | Prime Video
Created and showrun by Ben Watkins, who also directs the first two episodes. A biographical sports drama, produced with Muhammad Ali’s estate, starring Jaalen Best as Ali and tracing his formative years and rise in boxing alongside figures including trainer Angelo Dundee (Giovanni Ribisi) and Malcolm X (Michael Ealy).

Created by Quinn Shephard, who writes and directs. A Catholic school dance troupe’s initiation ritual goes wrong, triggering prophetic visions among the girls that spark mass hysteria across their town, blending coming of age drama with horror and dark comedy, starring Kristina Bogic, Sara Boustany, Geena Meszaros, Nnamdi Asomugha, Louisa Krause and Sofia Wylie.
