Grammy winners 2 Chainz and Ne-Yo are set to join the cast of Starz’s BMF in recurring roles for the show’s third season.
In the upcoming season, 2 Chainz will take on the character of “Stacks,” an Atlanta-born distributor who is deeply loyal and follows the street code. Stacks challenges the leadership style of Meech and is determined to provide for his family at any cost. Meanwhile, Ne-Yo will play the role of “Rodney ‘Greeny’ Green,” a local Atlanta player with an entrepreneurial spirit and an eye for making money.
BMF’s second season currently airs on Starz at 8 p.m. ET/PT in the United States and Canada. The show is executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson through his G-Unit film and television, along with showrunner, executive producer, writer, and Detroit native Randy Huggins, interim showrunner, and executive producer Heather Zuhlke, and executive producers Anthony Wilson and Anne Clements.
The series is produced by Jackson’s G-Unit Film and Television in association with Lionsgate Television for Starz.
