Ahead of its release at the top of the new year, ALLBLK dropped the trailer and unveiled the cast of its upcoming thriller series Conspirators.
The ensemble cast features CJ Obilom (Deadly Cheers), Kelsey Delemar (The Ride), Kyrel Jaundoo (Swagger), Simeon Daise (All American: Homecoming), and Keith Robinson (Dreamgirls). They are joined by Chase X Drewery, Sean Blakemore, Christian Tait, Candice VanBeauty, Jordan Gabriel, and Challedon Saltor in pivotal roles.
The eight-episode series, created by Double Cross masterminds Christel and Howard Gibson, will debut exclusively on ALLBLK on Thursday, January 2.
Conspirators centers on “The Gang”—Nova (Obilom), Jellina (Delemar), Osylus (Jaundoo), and Kevin (Daise)—a group of friends working for a local politician, Hudson (Robinson), who is running for mayor. Their seemingly straightforward lives are upended when they reconnect with an old friend, Jackson (Drewery), whose mysterious shooting and disappearance spark a series of revelations.
As the group digs deeper, they uncover damaging secrets about Hudson that could not only derail his campaign but also lead to his arrest. With only partial information from a recovered flash drive, “The Gang” must decide whether to protect Hudson or expose the truth by executing their most daring hack yet.
