AMC Networks has revealed the trailer and key art for the fourth and final season of “Snowpiercer,” which will premiere on Sunday, July 21, at 9 PM ET/PT on AMC and AMC+.
The new season continues after the dramatic split at the end of Season 3. Melanie Cavill (Jennifer Connelly) leads those who stayed on the Snowpiercer, while Andre Layton (Daveed Diggs) heads a group venturing into New Eden. The series explores themes of class warfare, social injustice, and survival in a frozen, dystopian world.
The final season stars Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Sean Bean, Rowan Blanchard, Alison Wright, Mickey Sumner, Iddo Goldberg, Katie McGuinness, Lena Hall, Sam Otto, Chelsea Harris, Mike O’Malley, Roberto Urbina, and Sheila Vand. New cast members include Clark Gregg and Michael Aronov.
The show is executive produced by Paul Zbyszewski, Christoph Schrewe, Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements, and the original film’s producers Bong Joon Ho, Miky Lee, Jinnie Choi, Park Chan-wook, Lee Tae-hun, and Dooho Choi. It is produced by Tomorrow Studios in partnership with CJ Entertainment, with ITV Studios handling international distribution.
After its cancellation by TNT, “Snowpiercer” was picked up by AMC Networks. Ben Davis, AMC Networks’ EVP of original programming, expressed excitement about bringing the series to AMC and AMC+, emphasizing its dedicated fanbase and thrilling narrative.
