“Rumors Salon” tells the gripping story of Naomi Parker, played by Rey Robinson, a hair stylist and small business owner fighting to save her family’s salon from financial collapse. Her struggles intensify when beauty industry icon Brooke Daniels, portrayed by Roxzane T. Mims, opens a high-end salon across the street. Using deceitful tactics, Daniels wins over Naomi’s clients, threatening to destroy her business and reputation. The film delves into the consequences of rumors and the impact of words on community bonds.
Directed by Burke, known for her role in Bounce TV’s “Saints & Sinners,” the movie features emerging talents Reynada Robinson, Roxzane T. Mims, and Trazi Leshawn. Executive producers Wayne T.
