Amazon MGM Studios and MRC have resumed production on the action thriller “G20,” featuring Viola Davis in the lead role. The film, directed by Patricia Riggen, centers around the G20 Summit being overtaken by terrorists, with Viola Davis portraying American President Taylor Sutton.
The cast includes a notable reunion of “Black-ish” stars Anthony Anderson and Marsai Martin. Other cast members joining the project include Ramón Rodríguez, Antony Starr, Douglas Hodge, Elizabeth Marvel, Sabrina Impacciatore, Clark Gregg, Christopher Farrar, John Hoogenakker, MeeWha Alana Lee, and additional talents such as Gabriel LaBelle, Conrad Kemp, Rachel Sennott, and Cooper Hoffman.
The script, written by Noah and Logan Miller with revisions by Caitlin Parrish, Erica Weiss, and Jason Hall, promises an intense and thrilling narrative. Andrew Lazar of Mad Chance is producing the film alongside JuVee Productions’ Viola Davis and Julius Tennon.
