“Sky’s End” is a young adult dystopian thriller published earlier this year by Peachtree Teen. Set in a civilization of islands floating above toxic black clouds, Conrad joins an airship crew to battle monsters in the skies and uncover sinister agents of terror.

The announcement of “Sky’s End” comes amidst a wave of successful adaptations in the entertainment industry. Fuqua’s Hill District Media, known for producing hits like “The Magnificent Seven” and “The Equalizer” franchise, is poised to bring Gregson’s compelling narrative to the big screen.

The deal for the film rights was brokered by Peachtree Teen’s Farah Géhy, Trustbridge Entertainment’s President Bob Higgins, and their respective teams. Speaking about the collaboration, Géhy expressed excitement about involving Gregson in the development process, ensuring the novel’s essence translates seamlessly to the cinematic experience.

Gregson, whose debut novel quickly rose to prominence, shared his anticipation for audiences to witness the vibrant world of “Sky’s End” come to life through Fuqua’s vision. The success of the book, which became an instant New York Times bestseller and received critical acclaim, sets high expectations for its film adaptation.

Hill District Media’s track record for storytelling, coupled with Fuqua’s directorial prowess, positions “Sky’s End” as a highly anticipated project in the realm of YA adaptations. With plans for a trilogy underway and a talented production team onboard, the journey to bring “Sky’s End” to audiences promises to be an exhilarating one.
