The trailer for ‘Bel-Air’ season 3 is out and the OG Geoffrey, portrayed by Joseph Marcell is visiting the Banks this season and the first glimpse of how the actor will fit can be seen in the newly dropped trailer below.

Third season of “Bel-Air,” is set to debut on August 15 with three new episodes launching simultaneously.

The excitement is palpable as “Bel-Air” returns for its third season, which promises to bring the heat of summer with no school, no uniforms, just pure summer vibes. Showrunner, executive producer, and writer Carla Banks Waddles teases that this season will be filled with pools, beach parties, bonfires, fireworks, Juneteenth celebrations, and plenty of summer romance. Season 3 will delve into thought-provoking themes such as proving oneself in a world with limited views, stepping out of comfort zones to create new opportunities, and rebuilding family trust. The series continues to provide a strong cultural perspective, tackling topics like the gentrification of South LA and its impact on the community.

Executive producer and director Morgan Cooper adds that this season brings more vibrant colors, enhanced sound, and immersive cinematography, setting the perfect tone for Will’s first summer in Bel-Air. Will is ready to level up in his own way, exploring and making moves under the LA sun, even if it means defying expectations. As Will broadens his horizons, the Banks family will also navigate new and complex relationship dynamics, marking a season of significant change for everyone.

“Bel-Air” features an ensemble cast led by Jabari Banks as Will, alongside Adrian Holmes, Cassandra Freeman, Olly Sholotan, Coco Jones, Akira Akbar, Jimmy Akingbola, Jordan L. Jones, and Simone Joy Jones. The creative team includes Carla Banks Waddles as showrunner, executive producer, and writer, with Morgan Cooper serving as executive producer and director. The series is produced by Universal Television and Westbrook Studios.

Set in modern-day Los Angeles, “Bel-Air” reimagines the beloved ’90s sitcom “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” through a dramatic lens, following Will’s journey from the streets of West Philadelphia to the luxurious mansions of Bel-Air. Season 3 sees Will embracing the wealth and opportunities that come with being part of the Banks family, while Carlton strives to overcome his addiction and rebuild his reputation. The season will explore whether their partnership can withstand their fundamentally different backgrounds and perspectives. Additionally, Viv and Phil face challenges at work and home, Hilary’s relationship with LaMarcus encounters unexpected hurdles, Ashley’s views on romance begin to blossom, and Geoffrey’s past comes dangerously close to home.
