Reign Edwards and Bokeem Woodbine have been cast in Bill Burr’s upcoming comedy Old Dads for Miramax. Burr, Bobby Cannavale, and Kate Aselton also star in the film.
Burr is making his feature film debut with this project that centers on a middle-aged father (Burr) who, along with his two best friends (Woodbine and Cannavale), sells their company to a millennial. Suddenly, the trio realize that they’re out of touch, behind the times, and together must figure out how to make it through the complicated and ever-changing world.
Edwards will play Britney, the young girlfriend of Woodbine’s character.

Burr and Ben Tishler co-wrote Old Dads which is based on their own life experiences, with slices of cultural commentary blended throughout.
Miramax, Burr’s All Things Comedy and Tishler are producing the film alongside Bill Block, Monica Levinson and Mike Bertolina. The film is currently in production in Los Angeles.
Edwards’ starred in FX’s hit Snowfall and is currently starring in the Amazon series The Wilds. Up next she can be seen in Wayfarer’s experimental film Love You Anyway opposite Charlie Gillespie.
