Boris Kodjoe Joins Recurring Cast of Fox’s ‘Memory of a Killer’ Season 2

Boris Kodjoe has joined the recurring cast of Fox’s Memory of a Killer for its upcoming second season. Season 2 is set to premiere midseason 2027.

Kodjoe will play Tré, described as the fourth musketeer of a tight-knit childhood friend group that includes Angelo, played by Patrick Dempsey, Dutch, played by Michael Imperioli, and Angelo’s brother Michael, played by Richard Clarkin. A high-level executive at a large company, Tré is the only one of the four who broke good and is now being honored for saving their childhood community center.

As we previously reported, Meta Golding has also joined Season 2 as a series regular, playing Mel, Angelo’s childhood sweetheart and a Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist who reappears in his life as both his love interest and his partner in avenging a tragic loss. Natalie Zea also joins in a recurring role as Olivia, a brilliant and ambitious businesswoman who has forged her own path in ways no one yet suspects.

Inspired by the 2003 award-winning Belgian film De Zaak Alzheimer, Memory of a Killer stars Dempsey as Angelo Flannery, a hitman leading a dangerous double life while hiding an even deadlier personal secret: he is slowly losing his memory. Season 1 concluded with Angelo defeating FBI Agent Linda Grant, revealed as the vengeful Ferryman, only for Grant to expose his secret before dying by anonymously sending a file detailing his hits to his daughter Maria. The season ended with Maria arriving at his hideout demanding the truth.

The Season 1 cast also includes Peter Gadiot, Richard Harmon, Odeya Rush and Daniel David Stewart.

Kodjoe most recently starred as Captain Robert Sullivan in ABC’s Station 19, where he also directed during the final season. His television credits include Soul Food, Undercovers, The Real Husbands of Hollywood and Code Black, with film credits spanning the Resident Evil franchise, Love and Basketball, Brown Sugar and Baggage Claim. He made his Broadway debut in the 2008 revival of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof opposite James Earl Jones.

Memory of a Killer is produced by Warner Bros. Television and Fox Entertainment. Executive producers include Dempsey and showrunners Aaron Zelman and Glenn Kessler, alongside Arthur Sarkissian, Martin Campbell and Peter Bouckaert of Eyeworks.

Memory of a Killer Season 2 premieres midseason 2027 on Fox.
