Bounce TV has unveiled its 2024 original programming lineup, featuring the new comedy series “Mind Your Business.” The show stars Columbus Short as Alfonso, Drew Sidora as Aaliyah, Bebe Winans as Henry, Rolonda Watts as Lucille, Caryn Ward Ross as Kimberly, Brely Evans as Mia, Bryce Xavier as A.J., and Chloe Elise Ellis as Jordan.
Premiering on Saturday, June 1st, “Mind Your Business” is a half-hour comedy set in Chicago that revolves around the Williams family, who run an event space in Chicago specializing in celebrations of life’s biggest moments. However, behind the scenes, their own family dynamics often require more mediation than celebration.
The premise of the show centers on Lucille Williams’ struggle to maintain her once-thriving lounge, Lucille’s Place, in the face of economic challenges. With the support of her brother Henry and the talents of her niece and nephew, Aaliyah and Alfonso, they transform the business into a hub for event planning and hosting. Joined by a colorful cast of characters including Alfonso’s wife Kimberly, their son A.J., and the versatile Mia, the Williams family navigates the ups and downs of running a business while dealing with personal and professional mishaps.
“Mind Your Business” promises a mix of humor and drama as the Williams family navigates the challenges of running a business while dealing with personal dynamics.
