Brittany Bradford Joins Scott Foley, Kate Micucci and More in Indie Comedy ‘August’

Brittany Bradford, Scott Foley, Kate Micucci, James Olivas and Dierdre Friel have joined the cast of August, the indie comedy marking the feature directorial, screenwriting and acting debut of Nick Borenstein.

The film, which has already wrapped production in New York City, stars Borenstein as a young gay New Yorker who spirals into an obsessive investigation after the sudden death of his beloved therapist, convinced her passing was not accidental. Dan Bucatinsky, Lauren Graham and Patti LuPone lead the cast in previously announced roles, with the new additions filling out the ensemble. Foley also serves as a co-executive producer on the project.

Borenstein and Bucatinsky produced alongside Lindsay Blair Goeldner. Executive producers include LuPone, Graham, Stan Ponte, Betsy and Steve Filton, Asori Soto, Andrew and Matthew Leventhal and Sydney Foos.
