“Iyanu” unfolds as a superhero saga set in the mystical realm of Yorubaland, deeply rooted in Nigerian culture, music, and mythology. Centered around Iyanu, a teenage orphan yearning for a normal life, the animated series delves into her daily pursuit of history and ancient arts. However, her world is transformed when she unwittingly taps into her divine powers in response to imminent danger, reminiscent of an era long past known as the Age of Wonders.

With her newfound abilities, Iyanu teams up with fellow teenagers Biyi and Toye, forming an unlikely alliance to confront the malevolent forces lurking within her homeland. As they embark on an extraordinary journey, Iyanu unravels the mysteries of her lineage, her parents, and her prophetic destiny to safeguard the world from impending darkness.
