In the film, the North Pole’s Head of Security, Callum Drift (Johnson), teams up with notorious bounty hunter Jack O’Malley (Evans) in a mission to save Christmas. The screenplay, written by Chris Morgan, is based on an original story by Hiram Garcia, President of Production at Seven Bucks Productions.
The cast includes Lucy Liu, Kiernan Shipka, Bonnie Hunt, Kristofer Hivju, Nick Kroll, and Wesley Kimmel. Producers include Kasdan, Morgan, Garcia, Dwayne Johnson, and Melvin Mar.
The trailer, which showcases a blend of holiday cheer and action-packed sequences, features Johnson and Evans navigating a world of advanced Christmas technology. A standout scene shows Johnson converting a toy car into a full-sized vehicle, highlighting the film’s unique take on holiday adventure.
“Red One” is set to roll out worldwide throughout November via Warner Bros. Pictures. The teaser poster, shared by Johnson on social media, depicts a “Missing” poster for Santa Claus, calling for help to save Christmas.
