Chris Chalk to Guest Star as The President in Upcoming NBC Drama Series ‘Line of Fire’

Chris Chalk has been set as a guest star in the upcoming NBC drama series Line of Fire, joining also announced guest stars Sam Waterston and Campbell Scott.

The series follows a family of law enforcement agents led by Mike (Peter Krause) and Jane (Hope Davis) Hollingsworth, who bridge personal differences and cross professional boundaries as they tackle cases for the FBI, US Marshals, Secret Service and Department of Justice. When a seemingly straightforward case turns into a deadly conspiracy, they must draw on a lifetime of protecting civilians and politicians to protect one another, even if it means betraying their sworn code.

The series also stars Kat Cunning, Tommy O’Brien, Taylor Bloom and Charlie Barnett. Chalk will play current President Kayana, a strong and decisive leader concerned about his poll numbers and looking to course correct. Waterston will play former President Thomas Barnes and Scott will play Terry, a US Senator and Jane’s boyfriend.

Creator and writer Joshua Safran executive produces alongside Jenna Bush Hager and Ben Spector. Universal Television produces under Bush Hager’s first-look deal with Universal Studio Group for her Thousand Voices production company.
