NBC is set to introduce a new single-camera mockumentary-style comedy series, ‘St. Denis Medical,’ to its fall lineup. The show, created by Justin Spitzer of ‘Superstore’ fame and Eric Ledgin, is slated to premiere on Tuesday nights.

The premise of ‘St. Denis Medical’ revolves around an understaffed and underfunded hospital in Oregon, where the dedicated doctors and nurses try their best to treat patients while maintaining their own sanity.. The series aims to provide a humorous yet insightful look into the healthcare system’s complexities through its comedic lens.
Leading the cast of ‘St. Denis Medical’ are David Alan Grier and Wendi McClendon-Covey. McClendon-Covey, known for her role in ‘The Goldbergs,’ portrays Joyce, the hospital’s administrator, while Grier, renowned for his work in ‘In Living Color,’ takes on the role of Ron, an ER doctor facing life’s ups and downs.
Allison Tolman, Josh Lawson, Mekki Leeper, Kahyun Kim, and Kaliko Kauahi round out the cast.
‘St. Denis Medical’ joins NBC’s fall 2024-2025 lineup alongside other highly anticipated shows like ‘Brilliant Minds’ and ‘Happy’s Place.’ It is scheduled to air on Tuesdays at 8/7c, followed by popular programs such as ‘Night Court,’ ‘The Voice,’ and ‘The Irrational.’
