BET Her is bringing fresh design inspiration to the screen with the premiere of its new original series, Design My Space: Atlanta, debuting Wednesday, February 26, at 8 PM ET. The four-episode home makeover series will air weekly, leading up to its finale on March 19.
Hosted by Emmy®-nominated designer Tyka Pryde, Design My Space: Atlanta takes viewers on a journey of bold transformations, proving that stylish and functional home makeovers can be achieved on a budget. Each episode follows Pryde as she helps deserving Atlanta residents—whether first-time homeowners, empty nesters, or entrepreneurs—reimagine their living and workspaces. With an eye for design and a passion for storytelling, Pryde’s expertise turns homes into stunning reflections of their owners’ personal journeys.
Tyka Pryde has spent more than a decade redefining interiors with her vibrant and intentional design aesthetic. Best known for her role as Art Director on Netflix’s Queer Eye, she has contributed to multiple Emmy-winning productions and earned six Emmy nominations for her work. Since stepping into the home makeover television space in 2015, Pryde has transformed countless homes, restaurants, and TV sets across the globe.
Her signature style blends bold textures, rich colors, and unexpected elements, crafting spaces that are not just visually captivating but deeply personal. Pryde believes that a well-designed space should foster emotional well-being, reflecting the essence of those who inhabit it.
