Three Added to Production Team of Dot Saint-Fleur’s Sold-Out One-Woman Show ‘One Way’ — Additional Dates Being Added

The seriocomic psychological play opens June 13 at The Barbara Morrison Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles

Dot Saint-Fleur’s one-woman show One Way has rounded out its production team just days before its Saturday premiere. Eboni Price has come aboard as director, Shayla Hudson-Riggle as assistant director, and Ignacio Navarro as stage manager for the show, which opens June 13 at The Barbara Morrison Performing Arts Center in Leimert Park. The Saturday premiere is already sold out and due to high demand, additional dates are being added.

The story follows Ashley Rae, an actress caught between reality and fantasy while awaiting a career-defining callback. When it arrives, it sends her on a chaotic, surreal journey through Los Angeles where a series of unexpected encounters forces her to reconsider what she has been searching for all along. Saint-Fleur writes, produces, and performs the show, with MC Lyte serving as executive producer.

The show itself has an origin as unconventional as its premise. One Way was born out of Take Note, a live monologue competition where actors perform before industry professionals, receive real-time notes, and must immediately incorporate that feedback into a second performance. Saint-Fleur won, and the show is the result.

Price brings an extensive TV and film background to her stage directorial debut. “One Way is an incredibly relatable piece for anyone who has dared to dream,” she said. “I am excited to help bring this vision to life and to showcase Dot’s incredible talent through the complex characters the audience will meet on this journey.” Hudson-Riggle brings more than 30 years of experience spanning theater, television, film, and distribution. Navarro is a theater and standup veteran with years of productions across the Los Angeles area.
