ON CALL TRAILER

Prime Video has unveiled the trailer for On Call, its upcoming police drama series from Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television. While the series stars Troian Bellisario (Pretty Little Liars) and Brandon Larracuente (The Good Doctor) as the lead duo, Eriq La Salle takes on a multifaceted role as an executive producer, director of multiple episodes, and stars as Sergeant Lasman.

On Call is a fast-paced police drama following two Long Beach, California, police officers—a seasoned veteran and a rookie—as they navigate the complexities of their jobs in a challenging environment. The series employs a gritty cinéma vérité style, incorporating bodycam, dash-camera, and cellphone footage to deliver an unfiltered and adrenaline-charged experience.

Bellisario (Pretty Little Liars) portrays Traci Harmon, a veteran officer grappling with departmental changes while training the next generation. Larracuente (The Good Doctor) plays Alex Diaz, an optimistic rookie who must reconcile his ambitions with the stark realities of policing.

Additional cast members include Lori Loughlin (Fuller House) as Lieutenant Bishop and Rich Ting (Tulsa King) as Sergeant Koyama. The series also features guest appearances, including Monica Raymund (Chicago Fire) as Officer Maria Delgado.

The series is co-created by Tim Walsh and Elliot Wolf, with executive producers Dick Wolf, Peter Jankowski, La Salle, Walsh, and Elliot Wolf. This marks another collaboration between Universal Television and Wolf Entertainment, the team behind Law & Order and the Chicago franchise.

In addition to its innovative visuals, On Call delves into the moral complexities faced by officers and the dynamic between seasoned professionals and rookies. The series explores themes of resilience, accountability, and the human side of law enforcement.

The trailer teases high-stakes drama with glimpses of Bellisario’s hardened but empathetic Traci Harmon and Larracuente’s eager Alex Diaz. La Salle’s Lasman provides a commanding presence, while Loughlin’s Lieutenant Bishop offers a stark reminder of the intense scrutiny officers face: “Every move we make is under a microscope.”

Prime Video will premiere all eight episodes of On Call on January 9, 2025. With its unflinching take on modern policing and standout performances, On Call is set to be a gripping addition to Prime Video’s growing lineup of dramas.
