Family Leave: Rita Moreno, King Bach, Bashir Salahuddin, Xosha Roquemore and More Join Upcoming Netflix Movie

Rita Moreno, King Bach, Bashir Salahuddin, Xosha Roquemore and more are joining the cast of the upcoming Netflix movie Family Leave.

They join previously cast Jennifer Garner, Ed Helms, Emma Myers, and Brady Noon in the body swapping comedy inspired by New York Times bestselling author Amy Krouse Rosenthal’s book, Bedtime for Mommy.

Joseph McGinty Nichol aka McG is directing based on a script most originally written by Victoria Strouse with current revisions by Chris Shafer and Paul Vicknair.

Family Leave which was first announced in February 2021, follows Jess (Garner) and Bill Walker (Helms), who are doing their best to keep their family connected as their children, CC and Wyatt, grow older, more independent and more distant. When a chance encounter with an astrological reader causes the family to wake up to a full body switch, on the morning of the most important day of each of their lives, the Walkers must unite to land a promotion, college interview, record deal and soccer tryout.

Matthias Schweighöfer, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, Fortune Feimster, Paul Scheer, Pete Holmes, Naomi Ekperigin, Dan Finnerty, Cyrus Arnold and Vanessa Carrasco round out the ensemble cast.

Myers and Noon star as CC and Wyatt. Further character details will come at a later date.

Garner is producing alongside Lawrence Grey and Ben Everard for Grey Matter Productions. Nicole King Solaka for Linden Entertainment, McG and Mary Viola for Wonderland are also producing. David Hyman and Jason Brian Rosenthal executive produce.
