In an exclusive trailer released by PEOPLE, viewers get a sneak peek into the high-stakes drama awaiting Tariq St. Patrick, played by Michael Rainey Jr., as he navigates a world of danger, loyalty, and legacy.

Joining this season are Michael Ealy as “Detective Don Carter,” a former NYPD officer leading an elite drug task force and Golden Brooks as “Janet Stewart,” Monet Tejada’s cousin, in a recurring role.
