Jax Stewart is back in the fight. Hulu has set an October 8 premiere date for Season 4 of Reasonable Doubt and released the first look images, exclusively via Essence, at what lies ahead for the high-powered Los Angeles defense attorney and the world closing in around her.
Season 4 picks up in the aftermath of a brutal attack that has left both Jax’s family and The Stewart Firm shaken. With the firm barely on its feet and already under siege, a media firestorm surrounding one of her most loyal clients threatens to pull everything apart before it can be rebuilt. As grief settles in and pressure mounts, Jax is forced to ask whether moving forward is even possible, or whether pushing too hard will cost her everything she has built.
Emayatzy Corinealdi returns as Jax alongside series regulars McKinley Freeman, Tim Jo and Angela Grovey. The season adds two new series regulars in Tank, who plays Eric Cropper, a wealthy recording artist and longtime client of Jax accustomed to getting his way, and Meagan Good as Regina Harris, a new district attorney who is compassionate but nobody’s fool.
Joining in recurring roles are La La Anthony as Eric’s first wife Melina Cropper, Taylor Polidore Williams (Beauty in Black) as his second wife Brooke, DeVaughn Nixon as Eric’s younger brother, Rutina Wesley as entertainment journalist Desiree Grant and Alexxis Lemire in a role yet to be disclosed. Morris Chestnut, Joseph Sikora and Brandee Evans return as guest stars reprising their previous roles.
Created and executive produced by Raamla Mohamed Hunter, Reasonable Doubt is also executive produced by Kerry Washington and Pilar Savone under Simpson Street, alongside Larry Wilmore, Tamara Gregory, Anton Cropper, Lena Cordina and Erika L. Johnson. Shawn Holley, Jon Leshay and Zahir McGhee serve as co-executive producers. The series is produced by 20th Television under Disney Television Studios.
Reasonable Doubt Season 4 premieres October 8 on Hulu with three episodes, with new episodes streaming on Tuesdays.
