Golden Brooks has joined the cast of “Power Book II: Ghost” for its final season, joining previous cast addition Michael Ealy. STARZ recently unveiled first-look images of the fourth and final season, promising fans a riveting conclusion. Brooks, known for her role in “Girlfriends,” will portray “Janet Stewart,” Monet Tejada’s cousin, in a recurring role, adding depth to the storyline.
Ealy, who’s announcement was made in 2023 joins the series as Detective Don Carter, a rising NYPD officer who was on track to become police commissioner until his wife was killed in a crossfire between rival drug gangs. He abandoned his former career track and now leads an elite drug task force that elicits concrete results against drug-related violence.
The new season will be split in two parts with the first part debuting on Friday, June 7, coinciding with Power’s 10th Anniversary on STARZ.
