The Gotham Film & Media Institute has unveiled the nominees for the third annual Gotham Television Awards, with Big Mistakes and Death by Lightning leading the pack with four nominations each.
This year’s field reflects a strong showing from streaming platforms, with Netflix and HBO Max dominating across categories, especially in Breakthrough Comedy Series and Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series. Both streamers collectively swept all nomination slots in those two major categories.
Winners will be announced on June 1 during a ceremony at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City, marking the first major awards event of the new television season.
Among the standout names this year are Erika Alexander, Chase Infiniti, Babou Ceesay, and many more, representing a wide range of breakout performances across comedy, drama, and nonfiction storytelling.
