Shaquita Smith has been announced as a recurring character for the upcoming Season 3 of crime-drama ‘Gravesend.’ The series, which is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video, has garnered attention for its gripping portrayal of life within the Colezzo crime family in 1980s Brooklyn.
Created by actor, producer, and director William DeMeo, “Gravesend” delves into the complex world of Benny Zerletta, a member of the Colezzo crime family. Set against the backdrop of 1986 Brooklyn, the series explores Benny’s struggle between the allure of a life of crime and the values instilled in him by his devout Catholic upbringing. As the series progresses, viewers witness the tensions and dangers inherent in Benny’s chosen path.
Smith, known for her work in “Wicked City,” steps into the role of “Charlene,” a character who becomes intimately intertwined with Gaetano, portrayed by Christopher Mormando.
