Glen Powell, Anthony Mackie, and Laura Dern are set to headline “Monsanto,” a compelling legal drama directed by John Lee Hancock, as Rocket Science and CAA Media Finance launch foreign sales for the film at the prestigious Cannes Film Market.

“Monsanto” delves into the true story of Brent Wisner (played by Glen Powell), a young attorney facing a colossal legal battle against the powerful U.S. chemical company Monsanto. Wisner takes on this daunting challenge on behalf of Dewayne “Lee” Johnson (portrayed by Anthony Mackie), who suffered health complications after using Monsanto’s popular product, Roundup, during his employment as a high school groundskeeper. Laura Dern joins the cast as Dr. Melinda Rogers, Monsanto’s chief toxicologist, whose testimony plays a pivotal role in the case.
