Lionsgate has unveiled the spine-chilling trailer for the upcoming horror film “Never Let Go,” directed by Alexandre Aja and featuring the acclaimed Halle Berry in the lead role.
The film revolves around a mother portrayed by Berry, alongside her fraternal twin sons played by Anthony B. Jenkins and Percy Daggs. Together, they have shielded themselves from a malevolent spirit for years, relying on their family’s protective bond. However, when doubt creeps into one of the boys regarding the existence of the sinister entity, their bond fractures, unleashing a harrowing battle for survival.
Matthew Kevin Anderson, Christin Park, and Stephanie Lavigne round out the cast.
Aja, known for his work on films like “The Hills Have Eyes” and “Piranha 3D,” directed the movie from a screenplay by Kevin Coughlin and Ryan Grassby. The production was overseen by 21 Laps’ Dan Cohen, Dan Levine, and Shawn Levy, with Berry and other notable names serving as executive producers.
This isn’t Berry’s first foray into the realm of horror and suspense, having starred in notable titles such as “Gothika,” “The Rich Man’s Wife,” and “The Call.” Speaking about her role in “Never Let Go,” Berry expressed her excitement, citing the film’s unique storyline and her passion for adrenaline-fueled projects.
